About

“To create one’s own world takes courage.”

Georgia O’Keeffe

Hi! My name is Gisele Trimboli, it is a pleasure to have you visit my website! I hope you like my art enough to stop by from time to time.

I suppose I could say a few words about myself, so you could sort of get to know a little bit about me, but the truth is there isn’t much to say. I found out about my love for watercolor painting a few months ago. Short story short, I woke up one day with the persisting thought that I should just give it a try. I drove to a craft store nearby and purchased some paper, some paint and some brushes. I sat down by my dining table and began to color a page. That was the moment I realized I could never stop.

Art is subjective. Beauty is subjective. The idea of ‘finished versus unfinished’ is subjective. Going against my controlling nature, I let the drops of water on the paper decide on all of the subjective matters, and art just happens. My brushes are teaching me the art of letting things go, my paints remind me that nothing lasts forever, and the water never fails to prove to me that every drop of life is unique and cannot, under any circumstances, be replicated.

I hope you enjoy taking a glimpse on my art journey!
